On the morning of February 5, actor Joo Won was officially relieved of his mandatory military service duties from the army's 'white skull' 3rd division base!

Known for having served as a new recruit instructor within the 'white skull' division for the past year and 9 months, Joo Won appeared in front of fans and the press with a big smile upon his discharge. 

The star remarked, "I've completed my time of military service, which can be considered long for some and short for others, and the time was spent worthwhile due to the many new experiences I faced. I'm so happy to have completed my mandatory service safely, with everyone taking care of me like family."

He continued, "I missed my fans very much, especially since they sent me so many letters to the base. More than anything, I very much wanted to work on a new drama production."

As for his response to the signature question to every male celebrity after his discharge from the military, Joo Won answered, "I saw on TV that they always ask all the celebrities this question, so I thought of how to reply but there are so many [idol groups]. Many soldiers in the military receive energy not just from girl groups, but boy groups as well; still, the group who provided me with the most energy was Black Pink. But other girl groups also helped me a lot, so I hope that many girl groups continue to support the military soldiers with their 'Fighting'."
