South Koreans are turning to rice straws after the government announced a plan in August to ban disposable cups and plastic straws by 2027.
Made of 70-percent rice and 30-percent cassava, the straws can remain in hot drinks for two to three hours. Customers can even eat them after finishing the drinks. The country produces about 300 million pieces each month.
That's pretty cool, every country should be doing this.
