Comedian Yang Se Hyung confessed that he has been in a relationship for two years — right in front of his younger brother, Yang Se Chan.
On the October 19 broadcast of SBS’s ‘Running Man,’ the episode featured the ‘Finders Keepers: Gold Hunters’ race with guests Jeon So Min and Yang Se Hyung.
During the game, the members competed in a mission called ‘Will You Admit It or Not?’ for a chance to win high-performance metal detectors that could help them find gold. The rules stated that a team would earn points only if the majority of its members admitted to the question posed by the opposing team.
Jeon So Min asked Kim Jong Kook’s team (Kim Jong Kook, Haha, Song Ji Hyo, Choi Daniel, and Yang Se Hyeong), “I am currently in a relationship — will you admit it or not?”
Yang Se Hyung then surprised everyone by saying, “I feel a little sorry to Se Chan. I’ve actually been seeing someone for two years,” revealing that even his brother had no idea about his relationship.
Talking about his girlfriend, he added, “You know how I love to dance — she’s a choreographer. She’s part of a dance team. People would recognize her name if I said it.” He went on to reveal that she belongs to dance team Y, surprising the cast.
In response, Jeon So Min reacted in disbelief, saying, “Are you serious?”
When Yoo Jae Suk quipped, “If it’s Y, it must be YG,” Yang Se Chan paused for a moment and then joked, “Do you know why he mentioned YG? Because he can see the YG building from his house — and he’s always running around near YG,” exposing his brother’s playful bluff and making everyone laugh.
