On August 19, Zip Daesung uploaded a pre-release of the special episode celebrating Big Bang's 19th anniversary. For this episode, G-Dragon was invited as the special host with Daesung and Taeyang as guests.
Upon arriving, G-Dragon received a Zip Daesung badge, and he shared, "Finally, I got it. Funny how I really wanted this." He then noticed new badge designs on the table, created to resemble him and Taeyang.
Spotting the new badge, he commented, "This looks like me...during 'POWER' (promotion), but it's been a while since I've worn a scarf/bandana." He explained, "I wore them back then to cover my weight."
Fans were quick to respond, insisting that G-Dragon didn't appear heavy during the 'POWER' promotions. They also commented on G-Dragon's slimmer figure in his recent appearance on Yoo Byung Jae’s 'No Laugh Birthday Party.'
