Sungjae (Yuk Sung Jae), member of the boy group BTOB and actor, gave viewers a glimpse into his dramatic and unique lifestyle on the May 23 episode of MBC’s 'I Live Alone.'
A teaser at the end of episode 597 revealed that Yuk, who has been living alone for eight years, will appear in the upcoming broadcast. In the preview, Yuk introduced his home and revealed his deep love for the color black. “The color of my heart is black,” he said. “I decided to decorate my home all in black, so now it feels like a dark bat cave.”
His home lived up to the description. From the living room and kitchen to the entrance and decorative details, everything was black. Even the show’s mascot, Wilson, didn’t escape his makeover. Calling the doll “too white,” Yuk dressed it in black and proudly named it the “Yuk Sung Jae Edition.”
One of the most striking moments in the preview showed Yuk throwing himself into the air in an effort to apply black film to a built-in air conditioner. His dedication to maintaining his aesthetic was clear and left quite an impression.
Yuk Sung Jae, born in May 1995, is now 30 years old. He debuted in 2012 as a member of BTOB and has since expanded into acting, where he continues to build a strong fanbase with his unique personality and versatile talents.
