Singer Ailee (35) has already been legally married to her boyfriend, actor-turned-entrepreneur Choi Si Hun (32), since August last year.

According to an exclusive report by Star News on March 25, Ailee registered her marriage with Choi Si Hun on August 21, 2024. The couple, who previously revealed their cohabitation on the MBC variety show 'Hangout with Yoo' earlier this year, were already legally married at the time. After registering their marriage, the couple naturally began living together.

Ailee and Choi Si Hun are set to hold their wedding ceremony on April 20, 2025. The two met through a mutual acquaintance and had been in a relationship for over a year before deciding to tie the knot. Their relationship was first revealed through an exclusive Star News report in March 2024. At the time, Ailee addressed the news through her social media account, saying, "We are happily dating. Please continue to support us, and when the time comes, I’ll personally share more good news with you."

Approximately eight months later, Ailee personally announced her marriage plans. In November 2024, she shared the news with her fans through her official fan café, saying, "Thanks to all the love and support you’ve given me over the years, I’ve grown into the person I am today. Now, I've met someone with whom I want to share that love, and I’ve decided to get married."

Speaking about Choi Si Hun, Ailee expressed her deep gratitude and affection, saying, "He’s someone who has given me a shoulder to lean on and has made me feel supported. His understanding and consideration made me realize I want to spend the rest of my life with him."

Choi Si Hun first gained public attention through the Netflix dating reality show 'Single’s Inferno,' which premiered in late 2021. After stepping away from the entertainment industry, he has been focusing on his F&B and MCN business ventures. Meanwhile, Ailee has been balancing her wedding preparations with her music career. She recently released her new mini-album '(Me)moir' on March 20 and has been actively promoting the title track 'MMI' on major music shows such as Mnet's 'M Countdown' and KBS2's 'Music Bank.'

Ailee's agency, A2Z Entertainment, stated, "Since her debut in 2012, Ailee has always been grateful for the love and support from her fans. She plans to continue giving her best in both her music career and her personal life. Even after her marriage, Ailee will maintain her professional activities and present a more mature and responsible side of herself."
