SF9 to make march comeback after 7-month hiatus.
K-pop group SF9 is set to return with a new album in March, breaking a seven-month hiatus since their 14th mini-album ‘FANTASY’ was released in August 2024. The group is reportedly in the midst of preparations for their highly anticipated comeback, according to industry sources on January 15th KST.
While most members will participate in this comeback, member Dawon will be absent as he is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service, which began in July last year.
SF9 has consistently showcased their ability to master diverse concepts ranging from sultry charisma to refreshing charm. Known for their musical versatility, they have left a unique mark on the K-pop scene. With members actively contributing to their music production, fans eagerly anticipate how their artistic growth will shine in this new release.
In addition to their group activities, SF9 members have been actively pursuing solo projects:
• Hwiyoung released his first solo album, ‘Traveling Fish,’ in June last year.
• Youngbin and Inseong held solo fan meetings following their discharge from the military.
• Chani attended the 29th Busan International Film Festival with his film ‘Method Acting.’
• Taeyang is currently performing in the musical ‘Bloody Love.’
