On January 17 KST, singer Kim Wan Sun shared a new behind the scenes video on her YouTube channel.
To prepare for her upcoming promotions for her new single "Lucky", a duet with Red Velvet's Seulgi, Kim Wan Sun visited JYP Entertainment, where she began learning the choreography for "Lucky" made by LACHICA. J.Y. Park, who composed, wrote, and served as the chief producer of "Lucky", also joined in on the dance lesson session to oversee the preparations.
Afterward, J.Y. Park invited Kim Wan Sun and Seulgi to a meal at the renowned organic cafeteria, located inside JYPE headquarters, JYP BOB.
While explaining about JYP BOB's organic ingredients, J.Y. Park revealed, "We are building a new headquarters and will relocate soon, and the new kitchen is going to be 3 times the size of the current kitchen. The reason is because we are going to start preparing packed meals as well. We will send meals packed from our headquarters to our artists during their schedules."
He added on, "So many artists don't eat well when they have schedules and have to eat in their waiting rooms."
Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment purchased land in Seoul's Godeok Gangil New Town in October of 2023 to begin construction of its new headquarters. The building (images below), designed by Hyunjoon Yoo Architects, will consist of 22 above ground level floors and 5 below ground level floors. Construction is set to begin in the second half of 2025, with completion projected for 2028~2029.
The company is currently headquartered in Seoul Gangdong-gu Seongnae-dong since 2018.
