J.Y. Park, the head of JYP Entertainment, celebrated 2PM member Jun.K’s 20th anniversary with the company by gifting him tickets for a trip to Switzerland.
On October 27, a video titled 'UN.K's Swiss Travel Diary Ep.1 | ※A Must-Watch for JYP Artists※ What Happens After 20 Years' was uploaded to 2PM’s official YouTube channel.
The video begins with Jun.K immersed in concert rehearsals ahead of his milestone anniversary. J.Y. Park made a surprise visit to the practice room, greeting the 2PM members before pulling Jun.K aside for a private moment.
Jun.K, noticing the cameras trailing behind, commented, “This feels like a broadcast setup,” before asking, “What’s going on? This is so sudden.” J.Y. Park congratulated him, saying, “At JYP, employees who reach their 20th year receive recognition. I wanted to do something I hadn’t been able to before.”
When asked about his wishes, Jun.K responded, “I haven’t traveled much, and fans know this. I’ve always wanted to visit Switzerland.”
J.Y. Park initially handed him a ticket for a local Swiss-themed amusement park in Korea, joking, “It’s a perfect replica of Switzerland. This is what 20 years at the company gets you.” However, he quickly followed up by presenting actual tickets to Switzerland. “Go to the park first, then use these to visit the real Switzerland,” he said, explaining that the trip was booked to fit perfectly into Jun.K’s schedule.
J.Y. Park expressed his appreciation, saying, “Twenty years is a remarkable achievement. Even marriages can struggle to last 20 years. It’s incredibly special and meaningful that you’ve stayed with me and the company for two decades.”
Jun.K responded with gratitude, saying, “Thank you for keeping us here.” On his way back to the rehearsal room, he joked, “If you stay at JYP for 20 years, you can even go to Switzerland,” reflecting his pride and joy.
