A new dating rumor has emerged in the K-pop industry. On December 11, aespa’s Winter and ENHYPEN’s Jungwon have been embroiled in the latest dating rumor that is creating much buzz.

The rumors started when photos and videos purportedly showing the two idols enjoying a date circulated online. The short video showed a man with his face covered talking on the phone and many netizens who saw the video speculated that the voice was similar to Jungwon's.

Since the initial dating rumors broke, both Winter's and Jungwon's respective agencies have issued statements denying the idols were dating.

Despite the official statement(s), K-netizens believe otherwise due to "Proof" photos that allegedly show that Winter and Jungwon are dating. The photos show Winter wearing "couple items" including the same Adidas zip top as Jungwon as well as the same framed glasses.

Not only that another netizen captured a scene from the first video that initiated the dating rumors and pointed out that the man in the video was wearing the same outfit that Winter was once seen wearing.

Some Korean netizens claim these to be concrete proof that Winter and Jungwon are dating, while others argue that these items are common clothing among idols. They commented:

"There's no denying it."

"They're really dating."

"But a lot of idols have those clothing and accessories."

"What if they're dating? We should just let them."

"SM would admit if they are dating. They're going to sue you guys."

"They said they were just friends."

"I think SM knows to deny dating rumors now because fans were boycotting when Karina admitted she was dating actor Lee Jae Wook."

"But they look alike. They're cute together."

"I mean friends can hang out together."

"Even I have that Adidas shirt."

"But those are such common items."

"I feel Winter could date someone better."
