The band QWER achieved a significant milestone by winning the Rookie Award at the 9th Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2024), held at IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-2 in Bangkok, Thailand, on December 27th.
Ahead of their performance, Hina shared her thoughts about attending the awards for the first time: "It’s my first time attending an awards ceremony overseas, and I feel very nervous. I’m grateful for being invited to such a wonderful and prestigious event. Thank you to all the fans who came to support us. We’ll do our best to deliver an amazing performance."
Magenta added, "Preparing for a year-end stage in such warm weather feels unique. We’ve put in a lot of effort to create a special performance, so please look forward to it."
QWER expressed their excitement about being part of the AAA 2024 lineup alongside Day6, a group they admire. Chodan shared, "I often listen to and practice Day6's songs, so it’s an honor to stand on the same stage with them at such a grand event. I worked hard to show my best side."
Reflecting on the achievement, Seyeon said, "We’re still a rookie group, but we’ve been blessed with such a busy and meaningful year-end. I’m deeply grateful for the overwhelming love we’ve received, and it’s truly an honor to be here at such a significant event like AAA 2024."
Chodan added, "I’m so thankful to spend these precious final days of the year in happiness and excitement. We’re here because of all the staff and fans who supported us. Thank you so much; we love you."
Hina concluded, "I never imagined we’d receive such a meaningful and grand award. I feel so honored and grateful. Thank you again to AAA and Star News for inviting us."
