NewJeans' member Hanni has left fans concerned after a recent incident. As the group returned to South Korea after attending the '2024 Asia Artist Awards,' a shocking scene unfolded in the airport. A large group of people suddenly surrounded NewJeans, shouting, filming the members, and attempting to press their way past security. 

While this is not an uncommon event for many idols when traveling through the airport, something appeared to be different this time. Hanni became visibly upset, stopping in the middle of the crowd while Minji and a staff member comforted her.

Fans are now speculating as to the reason for Hanni's distress, and many have pointed out one possibility: a man who pushed past NewJeans' bodyguards, attempting to touch them and hand them a letter. Some fans are wondering whether this may have caused Hanni's discomfort, or whether the entire situation at the airport was simply overwhelming.
