An "ahjussi" (middle-aged man) who was thought to be a fan of RIIZE turned out to be a four-star general.

The X post was shared by a netizen whose friend had met the middle-aged male "fan" and taken a photo with him. The friend assumed he was simply a fellow fan of RIIZE who wanted to share in the excitement of the moment.

However, the poster revealed that this supposed "fan" was none other than Kim Byung Joo, a former four-star general and deputy commander of the ROK-US Combined Forces. Currently serving as a member of the National Assembly for South Korea's Democratic Party, Kim Byung Joo is vocally in favor oof President Yoon Seok Yeol's impeachment.

While Kim Byung Joo is well-known for his distinguished military career and active political role, netizens couldn’t help but laugh at the thought of him blending into the crowd with a RIIZE lightstick. His unexpected appearance in such a setting sparked amusement, as no one would have imagined a four-star general participating in the protest with fan gear in hand.

The friend who shared the story on X wrote:
