GFRIEND celebrates 10th anniversary with diverse activities, proving their enduring chemistry.
Girl group GFRIEND (Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, Umji) continues to showcase their bond with exciting projects as they approach their 10th debut anniversary.
On December 10th KST, a live broadcast broke the silence on their Weverse account, where fans got to engage with the group for the first time since announcing their upcoming special album and solo concert for January 2025.
The members shared their excitement, saying, “It’s been a while since we’ve greeted you as GFRIEND. We’ve been hard at work preparing for our solo concert and special album release. We missed you all so much. Someone mentioned how they loved us during their elementary school days and are now adults attending our concert—it feels surreal.”
They also hinted at a recently completed, yet-to-be-revealed schedule, stirring curiosity among fans. The members added, “Our solo concert in January sold out so quickly. We’ve included many of our own suggestions for the setlist. It wasn’t easy to narrow down the songs because there were so many we wanted to perform.”
Additionally, they discussed behind-the-scenes stories from their recent appearance on ‘Killing Voice’ by Dingo Music, released on December 10th. The video garnered over 1 million views within just 8 hours of its release. Reflecting on the experience, they said, “It was our first official schedule together. We were so nervous our hands were sweaty. Seeing everyone giving their best made it such a special moment.” They also revealed that they personally crafted the comments inserted between the songs.
GFRIEND is set to pre-release a new track on January 6th, followed by the official release of their special album ‘Season of Memories’ on January 13th. Their solo concert ‘Season of Memories’ will take place on January 18th and 19th at the Olympic Hall in Seoul.
