Gitae, a member of the ballad boy group SoonSoonHee, has become a father!
According to an exclusive report by Xports News on December 22, Gitae's wife gave birth to a healthy baby boy weighing 4.04kg on December 21 at around 1 PM in a Busan hospital. Both mother and child are reportedly in good health.
In a statement to Xports News, Gitae shared his overwhelming joy, saying, "I want to express my sincere gratitude to my beloved wife. I've experienced a miracle so great that it's still hard to believe."
He added, "Christmas is just around the corner, but it feels like I've already received the greatest gift in the world."
Gitae further expressed his heartfelt appreciation for his wife, stating, "I am truly grateful for the strength and love my wife has shown, and for every moment she carried our new precious life. Now, as her husband and the father of our child, I will live with greater responsibility and work even harder. I will do my best to protect this precious family and become a father my son can be proud of."
"Through this experience, I've come to appreciate the meaning of family even more deeply. I have even greater respect for the greatness of all mothers," he concluded, conveying his gratitude towards his wife and the overwhelming emotions of holding his son.
Gitae married his wife, who is one year his junior, in 2022. The couple first met during the filming of the music video for SoonSoonHee's hit song "At Seomyeon Station," adding a romantic touch to their love story.
