It has been confirmed that the residence of Min Hee Jin has been placed under provisional seizure.
A creditor has filed a claim of 100 million won in attachment against Min’s property, though the specific reason for the claim remains undisclosed.
On November 10, the real estate industry reported that a house in Yeonnam dong, Mapo gu, Seoul, where Min resides, received a court notice of attachment. The Seoul Western District Court had accepted the creditor's application for attachment on September 23.
A real estate provisional attachment is a legal measure allowing creditors to secure a debtor’s assets to potentially enforce a future ruling, such as auctioning the property. Since it can take several months to obtain a final judgment after filing a lawsuit, creditors often seek provisional attachment to prevent the debtor from disposing of assets in the meantime.
According to the property registry, Director Min purchased a small apartment in Yeonnam dong, Seoul, for 387 million won in 2011. Given that the property was bought 13 years ago, the house is assumed to have appreciated. Based on KB Real Estate, the average home price in Yeonnam dong, Mapo gu, Seoul, is now around 985 million won.
The creditor’s claim of 100 million won against Min remains without a stated cause. However, as previously reported, Min discussed her financial situation during the '2024 Hyundai Card Da Vinci Motel' event, stating, "Legal fees have amounted to 2.3 billion won, and I may have to sell my house because of it."
Meanwhile, Min is still entangled in a management rights dispute with HYBE, where Bang Si Hyuk is the major shareholder. HYBE has filed a criminal complaint against Min, alleging breach of duty amid claims of an "ADOR management takeover."
Recently, Min’s application for provisional reinstatement as CEO was dismissed by the court, further impacting her position. The dismissal of the injunction indicates it was returned without review due to insufficient qualifications. Additionally, Min faces civil and criminal lawsuits from other HYBE affiliates, Source Music and Belift Lab.
