IVE brought laughter to fans with their mafia game antics.
On November 25th KST, IVE released the fifth episode of season 5 of their self-produced reality show ‘1.2.3 IVE’ on their official YouTube channel.
In this episode, the members, who had moved into the “IVE Village,” were each assigned a role and a personal mission. The group immediately showcased high energy as they began completing their missions. An Yujin, tasked with “jumping on a trampoline 11 times in a row,” quickly went to the trampoline but was caught by other members, resulting in her failure.
While Leeseo was focused on her mission, Liz playfully “shot” her with a finger gun, making Leeseo the first victim and escalating the chaos. As it turned out, Liz’s real role was that of a mafia member tasked with secretly “attacking” other members.
While Gaeul became Liz’s second victim, An Yujin was the first to successfully complete her mission and shifted her focus to disrupting others’ tasks. Meanwhile, Liz executed flawless “attacks” on Rei and Jang Wonyoung, successfully completing her mafia mission. Liz shocked the members, who felt betrayed, by confessing, “My goal from the start was to take everyone out.” Leeseo jokingly called her a “crazy mafia,” eliciting laughter from everyone.
A second mafia game followed, but before it began, An Yujin and Liz swapped mission cards, altering each other’s fate. Once the game started, the members baselessly accused one another of being the mafia. Rei, who seemed to struggle with understanding the game, was particularly suspected. However, Rei turned out to be an innocent citizen, leading the group into further confusion. Gaeul and Jang Wonyoung were subsequently accused of being mafia members but were also revealed to be citizens. The real mafia, An Yujin, was ultimately exposed, leaving everyone surprised.
Towards the end of the episode, night fell in the IVE Village, and a mysterious disappearance occurred. The teaser for the next episode hinted at the members solving a new mission, heightening fans’ anticipation.
Meanwhile, IVE appeared at the ‘2024 MAMA Awards’ on November 22nd, winning three awards. Season 5 of IVE’s self-produced content ‘1.2.3 IVE’ will move to a new release time starting December 6th, with episodes airing every Friday at 7:30 PM KST on their official YouTube channel.
