'The Sharehouse You Must Be In,' which premiered on the short-form platform Storyreels on October 18, is a mobile-only, vertical-format drama based on a romance webtoon and game. The series features a unique structure with 47 main episodes, followed by 15 interactive episodes where viewers can continue the story from their perspective, making choices to direct the plot.
The plot centers around a dating show where former lovers are forced into close interactions, with participants required to engage in daily physical contact. The one with the highest score by the end wins a prize of 100 million KRW (~72,763 USD).
Park Xi Yeon stars as the main character, Na Ju Yeon, a behind-the-scenes TV writer. Due to rising rent demands from her landlord and a favor from a friend, she’s suddenly thrust into a fictional reality dating show. Within the drama, viewers can select Ju Yeon’s romantic partners, creating an intense six-person love triangle, which promises a highly immersive experience.
