Haha recently shared his thoughts on meeting aespa member Karina in person.
On November 25th, KBS Cool FM's 'Haha's Super Radio' aired its first episode, marking Haha's return as a radio DJ after 16 years.
During the broadcast, Haha listened to aespa's 'Supernova' and remarked, "I don't know much about idols, but this song is amazing," flashing a warm smile. Haha, who mentioned that he hasn't had much connection with KBS, revealed, "I recently appeared on 'SyncroYou', hosted by Yoo Jae Suk, and that's where I met the goddess Karina. Back in my day, it was Cherry-na," he joked.
He continued, "Usually, only one manager accompanies me, but that day, three or four people were tagging along. I told myself, 'Even if I meet Karina, she's a junior, so stay composed, smile casually, and greet her properly.' But then, this celestial being suddenly greeted me with, 'Hello,' and I froze. I couldn't even manage a proper greeting. I was so baffled—why couldn't I just say hello?"
Haha added with a laugh, "My wife doesn’t know about this. But, hey, she’s into Byun Woo Seok. Do you think it’s anything serious? It’s like the crushes we had on pencil board stars when we were young. I finally understand why people are so captivated by Karina. She has charisma but is also very down-to-earth and relatable. If I ever had another daughter, I’d name her 'Harina.' Although, our factory is officially closed now, that’s just how much I truly admire Karina."
