G-Dragon recently confessed he watched a dating show for the first time during his mandatory military service and has not been able to cut back.
In the latest episode of 'Zip Daesung' that aired on November 1, G-Dragon and Taeyang sat down for a meal and candid talk with host Daesung. During the show, the trio talked about various topics, such as Taeyang's recent attendance at Jo Se Ho's wedding and also G-Dragon's solo track release.
Daesung commented, "A long time ago, we would hold press conferences when releasing an album, but these days the promotion ends in just two weeks because we don't do much broadcasts." G-Dragon chimed in about his latest comeback saying, "I've prepared 7 years just to promote for two weeks."
G-Dragon also shared how he felt to be on stage during Taeyang's recent concert. He shared, "I was nervous. I planned on my own and wanted to appear cool when I entered."
In particular, the three Big Bang members also shared candid conversations about the shows they watch. Daesung asked G-Dragon, "Are you still watching dating shows these days? You were watching 'EX-change.'" G-Dragon replied, "I did, but these days...I couldn't find the time to watch anything. But I watched everything that was released until recently."
Daesung was surprised G-Dragon watched dating shows, and G-Dragon confessed, "Yeah, I adopted a bad habit while I was in the military," making everyone laugh. He continued, "I saw a dating show for the first time when I was in the military. All of us (soldiers) would talk about it after watching. So you can't help but get immersed. That's why I kept watching them. Waiting for next week's episode to come out..."
G-Dragon added, "We couldn't pay, so we had to wait three weeks (during his military days)," expressing how frustrating it was to wait for new episodes during his military service.
