On November 20, K-pop group A.C.E held a showcase at Ilji Art Hall in Gangnam, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their third single album 'PINATA.' This marks their first full-group album in three years, signaling the start of a new chapter in their career as a reunited team.
Released at 6 PM KST, 'PINATA' draws inspiration from the pinta, a symbol of celebration in American and Latin American cultures, and reinterprets it as a vessel that seals away human sorrow, pain, and negativity. Through their unique worldview, the album captures the process of liberating these emotions.
The title track, also called 'PINATA,' was inspired by Christopher Nolan’s film ‘Tenet’, delivering a grand, cinematic soundscape akin to a blockbuster movie. Member Jun contributed to the lyrics, and the group collaborated with a large crew of dancers to present an ambitious ‘mega crew’ performance, marking a bold artistic endeavor.
Celebrating their seventh anniversary since their debut, A.C.E reflected on challenges and determination to move forward. “Without our fans and each other, we wouldn’t have made it here,” Kang Yoo Chan shared during the album’s showcase, expressing deep gratitude.
Looking ahead, the members hinted at contract renewals and future projects, promising even more for their fans. With 'PINATA,' A.C.E not only closes a difficult chapter but sets the stage for an exciting future, showcasing their growth, resilience, and unwavering passion.
