On October 11, SM Entertainment announced that Seunghan would rejoin RIIZE for activities.

According to the announcement made by the label, Seunghan would be rejoining RIIZE again after 10 months of hiatus. SM Entertainment also emphasized that the decision was made after speaking with the members and they strongly wished for his return. Based on the announcement, Seunghan will resume activities in November.

However, fans have been expressing concerns as some are still against Seunghan's return due to the severity of the controversy he was embroiled in. Many have raised their voices against Seunghan rejoining the group with some even threatening to leave the fandom.

Surprisingly, even SM Entertainment employees were against Seunghan's return. In a recent Blind online community post, SM employees revealed that employees working with RIIZE were all against this decision.

Translation: "It just looks like they’re targeting international fans, but from a practical standpoint, those fans don’t even spend money, so it’s all just confusing, lol. We've been seeing signs of a comeback for months, but if they were going to do it, they should’ve done it earlier..."
