38-year-old rapper Zizo caught attention by revealing his current situation and income on MBC Everyone's show 'I’m All Grown Up, But I’m Not Moving Out.'
Zizo's daily life and candid thoughts were showcased in the first episode that aired on October 1.
While introducing the house he currently shares with his parents, Zizo openly admitted, "The housing prices in Seoul are outrageous. Living with my mom is the best way to save money."
Zizo, who is known as the runner-up from 'Show Me the Money,' spoke about his career as a rapper, stating, "I’m preparing a great project, but I’m worried that when it comes out, I may not receive as much attention."
His comments about his income also drew attention.
He revealed, "These days, my earnings aren’t great," and disclosed that his monthly income is less than 1 million KRW (approximately 755 USD). He humorously described himself as 'a pitiful kangaroo,' but one day I'll be an 'awesome' kangaroo." His interview was conducted in the bathroom, bringing laughter to viewers.
Recalling his past, Zizo shared, "The busiest time for me was when I had three performances in one day."
However, he confessed that now he only has one radio guest appearance a week, saying, "It’s hard to make ends meet, and there are times when I live on less than 1 million KRW." His difficult situation drew sympathy from both the production team and viewers, with many commenting, "This is truly heartbreaking."
As an only child, Zizo started his day by preparing his parents’ supplements.
Viewers were touched by his warm family bond as he cheered on his parents, who leave for work at 5 AM. He encouraged them with a “fighting!” as they headed out. His father, amused by his son’s high energy, jokingly said, "Grow up already, you little brat! You X!"
HaHa, who was also watching, commented on Zizo’s home situation, asking, “So, are your parents living in the living room while you’ve taken over the master bedroom?” Zizo quickly corrected him, saying, “It’s not the master bedroom,” adding a heartwarming touch to the episode.
