LE SSERAFIM has added a new 'hundred-million-stream' record on Spotify.
"ANTIFRAGILE," the title track off of LE SSERAFIM's 2nd mini album of the same name, surpassed 500 million streams as of October 11, solidifying its status as a global hit. The single is LE SSERAFIM's first to reach the 500 million stream milestone.
The track surpassed 400 million streams in February of this year and added 100 million more in just eight months. Despite being released nearly two years ago, the song's streaming numbers continue to grow rapidly.
On the same day, their single "EASY" also reached 200 million streams, making it the group’s sixth song to surpass this number.
Some industry insiders surmise that this momentum is fueled by the success of their latest release "CRAZY," which attracted a significant influx of new listeners when it was released on August 30. Before their comeback with "CRAZY," LE SSERAFIM had around 11 million monthly listeners on Spotify, but after the album’s release, their listener count surged. The streaming numbers for both their new and old songs increased, leading to these consecutive milestones. Even nearly a month after their official promotions for "CRAZY" ended, the group maintains over 15 million monthly listeners.
Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM has been nominated for three categories at the upcoming 2024 MTV Europe Music Awards: "Push Artist," "New Act," and "K-Pop," further highlighting their global influence.
