Awards season is just around the corner and it is the time when music fans become hyped to see their favorite artists be recognized for their achievements for the year.
As one of the biggest music award ceremonies, the 2024 MAMA Awards approach, Korean netizens have been debating which music video will take home the 'Music Video of the Year' title.
Many K-pop fans have gathered in a popular online community to debate which K-pop girl group would be able to snag that title. Two nominees mentioned were IVE and aespa, two girl groups that have made breakthrough comebacks this year.
IVE has been mentioned for their music video for "HEYA" while aespa was named for "Armageddon."
Korean netizens gave their thoughts on this topic in an online community and gave their votes on which MV would win.
They commented:
"I haven't seen 'Armageddon' but I think I like 'HEYA' music video since it goes off a Korean vibe."
