Channel S's 'Map Me to the World' is set to feature a special episode titled "Top 3 China Travel Destinations Tailored to Your Taste," where KARA's Nicole reveals her surprising "unexpected preferences."
On the upcoming episode airing on October 10, Nicole, the lively and fresh 2nd-generation idol, will unveil her unexpected method of relieving stress. When she tries the rich broth of a wild mushroom hotpot, a specialty dish from Kunming, China, she comments, "This would be perfect for a hangover," and immediately mimics taking a shot of soju.
Singer Lee Seok Hoon, noticing Nicole's behavior, remarks, "You seem like you're not the average drinker," to which Nicole responds with a bright smile, "I actually love strong liquor the most." Nicole then humorously adds, "I relieve stress with alcohol. My favorite Chinese snack is mala crayfish, and with that, even beer, which I usually don’t drink, goes down easily."
Kunming's breathtaking natural beauty also captivates Nicole. Known as the "City of Flowers," producing 70% of China's flower supply, Kunming offers unique snacks adorned with fresh flowers, and the episode will also showcase the grand scale of Yunnan's Central Park, leaving everyone in awe.
The episode will feature the world’s largest stone forest, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site, and one of China's highest-rated tourist destinations, classified as a 5A attraction. The stunning, naturally formed scenery is said to leave a powerful impression, with Nicole even comparing it to 'The Lord of the Rings,' stating, "You have to be sober to fully enjoy this place," declaring a temporary break from alcohol, which leaves Lee Seok Hoon in stitches.
Episode 129 of 'Map Me to the World' will air on Thursday, October 10, at 9:20 PM.
