Brian and BamBam showcase car cleaning solutions on MBC’s ‘Cleaning Maniac Brian’

In the latest episode of Cleaning Maniac Brian, Hwanhee and Hong Suk Chun requested a car cleaning session from Brian and BamBam. This marked the first time since 2019 that Hwanhee appeared on a show with Brian, raising anticipation for the reunion.

Hwanhee, who secretly prepared a surprise meeting for Brian, expressed his excitement, saying, “It’s been a long time since I felt this kind of excitement. It felt nostalgic.” Brian, shocked by Hwanhee’s surprise appearance, confessed, “I had no idea Hwanhee was coming. My mind went blank for a moment.”

Despite the initial surprise, Brian and Hwanhee displayed their signature “old couple chemistry” as they reunited. When BamBam asked, “How do you feel about Brian becoming a cleaning maniac?” Hwanhee laughed and responded, “It’s not unfamiliar at all. I’ve seen him like this since we were young,” confirming Brian’s long-standing reputation for cleanliness, which he’s maintained for over 20 years. Hwanhee also revealed an amusing anecdote about how Brian used to pile up empty water bottles in the passenger seat, further proving their close friendship.

Meanwhile, Hong Suk Chun, who doesn’t have a driver’s license and usually relies on his manager, revealed a mystery surrounding his car. He humorously questioned his manager about unexplained scratches on the door handle and changes in the position of the passenger seat. This led to a playful debate in front of the cleaning maniacs, giving viewers a good laugh with their unique chemistry.

Before starting the actual car wash, Brian and BamBam inspected Hwanhee and Hong Suk Chun’s cars and were shocked by the amount of dust, insect remains, and water stains. Brian, especially disheartened by the state of Hwanhee’s car, couldn’t help but lower his head. However, during the cleaning process, when Hong Suk Chun praised BamBam for being thorough and noted that Hwanhee was a bit careless, Brian quickly defended his long-time friend, saying, “What do you mean ‘careless’?!” subtly showing off their bromance.

Brian and Hwanhee, who have known each other for 24 years, showcased perfect teamwork during the car wash, dividing tasks without needing to communicate. They even helped car wash beginners BamBam and Hong Seok Cheon. Thanks to the guidance of Fly to the Sky duo, BamBam and Hong Seok Cheon, who experienced car washing for the first time, reportedly became hooked, saying, “Once you try it, there’s something strangely addictive about it.”

After completing both the exterior and interior cleaning, Hwanhee and Hong Suk Chun were thoroughly satisfied with their transformed vehicles. Hong Suk Chun, in particular, praised the results, saying, “The car is so clean, I regret not inviting you to my house.” Hwanhee added, “The cleaning maniacs restored my car’s all-black look,” and complimented the chemistry between Brian and BamBam, saying, “They’ve found the perfect partner in each other.”
