Former T-ara member Hwayoung has opened her own YouTube channel.
On October 14, Hwayoung shared the announcement of her new YouTube channel on Instagram. She shared a screen-captured photo of her new channel and wrote, "After trying to film and edit videos on my own, I realized, 'Oh, I have this side to me too.' I wanted to approach everyone in a more familiar way, so I mustered up the courage to start YouTube to share videos and communicate with you all."
She continued, "I know I might be awkward, lacking, and inexperienced, but I hope you can watch with a relaxed mind. It would be great if you could take away small moments of laughter from my everyday life. It’s nothing special, so feel free to approach lightly. I hope it can bring you some healing."
She concluded with, "Each of us is a precious person. Let's be happy." Along with this, she also revealed that she uploaded her first video titled, "First Vlog | Daily Life of a 30-Year-Old Actress | K-Actress | Ryu Hwayoung."
Meanwhile, Hwayoung originally joined T-ara in 2010 with the digital single 'Weironi.' In 2012, she left T-ara and transitioned to acting, appearing in dramas such as JTBC's 'Hello, My Twenties!,' 'Beauty Inside,' KBS2's 'Mad Dog,' and tvN's 'Player 2: The War of Swindlers.'
