BTS’s J-Hope completes military service and celebrates with a surprise discharge party

BTS’s J-Hope celebrated for completing his military service.

BTS’s J-Hope was celebrated for successfully completing his active military service. On October 18th KST, J-Hope shared a post on his social media account with the caption “2023.4.18 ~ 2024.10.17” along with photos and videos.

In the shared photos, J-Hope’s friends surprised him with a discharge party. As he entered the room, his friends shouted “J-Hope, J-Hope” while setting off confetti poppers in celebration.

The photos also show J-Hope in his military uniform holding a large bouquet, smiling brightly. Additionally, several photos of him with his fellow soldiers during his time in the military were shared.

J-Hope officially discharged on October 17th at the 36th Infantry Division Baekho Recruit Training Center in Wonju, Gangwon Province. He enlisted in April of last year and served as a drill instructor in the division.
