Singer Younha sends a love call to aespa, expresses desire to collaborate.
On September 2 KST, singer Younha discussed her 7th full-length album ‘GROWTH THEORY,’ released in celebration of her 20th anniversary.
During the interview, Younha was asked if there was anything she hadn’t yet done in her 20-year career. Without hesitation, she responded, “A collaboration with aespa. I love Karina,” confessing her fandom and bringing a smile to everyone’s faces.
Explaining why she wanted to work with aespa, Younha said, “The members are so talented and hardworking. They also have their own unique world. Even though our styles may differ, like Disney and Pixar, I think it would be a truly meaningful event if our worlds could intersect.”
When asked if she would be willing to dance if the collaboration required it, Younha humorously added, “If Karina dances, I would clear my schedule to practice dancing.”
‘GROWTH THEORY’ is Younha’s 7th full-length album, released 2 years and 10 months after her previous one, to mark her 20th anniversary. The album features 10 tracks, all written and composed by Younha herself, and each song delves deeply into the concept of growth. Upon its release, the album quickly climbed to the top of various music charts, including Melon TOP100.
Younha’s 7th full-length album ‘GROWTH THEORY’ was released on various music streaming platforms on September 1st, with the physical album set to be officially released on September 3rd.
