A new ADOR employee allegedly referred to NewJeans' live stream.
On September 13, messages on the social networking app Blind, which is used by verified employees of companies, went viral. The messages reveal a verified ADOR employee, assumed to have been recently hired by HYBE, left a comment that wasn't the most flattering about NewJeans.
An alleged ADOR employee refers to NewJeans' recent live stream, stating, "It's embarrassing that that kind of shitty livestream aired." An Asiana employee responded, "Wow, it's fake ADOR," and the alleged ADOR employee stated, "You're responding because you're scared. For the sake of the members, that live stream shouldn't have gone live. Anyway, it's too late now."
The alleged ADOR employee's messages on Blind are leading to speculation among netizens that the NewJeans' members are not being treated well, which was an issue that was previously discussed on Blind by alleged HYBE employees.
Netizens are also citing Hanni's words during NewJeans' live stream. She expressed, "After hearing 'There's nothing we can do because there's no evidence,' I thought, 'There's no one to protect us anymore,' and 'They don't intend to protect us.' I felt like I'd become a liar in an instant. While former CEO Min Hee Jin fought for us, the current management doesn't. I'm worried and scared what might happen in the future."
An anonymous user's Twitter/X post about the situation is going viral as well. The user posted, "Employees never wrote posts on Blind under ADOR's name before, and even after Min Hee Jin's press conference, there were no comments on Blind. Now, as soon as the CEO changes, if comments attacking NewJeans appear in this tone, doesn't that reinforce that the current ADOR isn't protecting NewJeans?"
The post quickly gained traction with over 14,000 retweets in a day, resonating with many.
