K-pop 4th generation leading girl group LE SSERAFIM has made it into the top 10 of the US Billboard's main album chart, the Billboard 200, with their 4th mini album "Crazy".
According to Billboard's preview article for the chart dated the 14th, posted on their website on the 8th, LE SSERAFIM's "Crazy", released on the 30th of last month, debuted at 7th place on the Billboard 200 with an equivalent of 47,000 units sold.
The Billboard 200 ranking is calculated by combining traditional album sales, streaming equivalent albums (SEA), which converts streaming counts into album sales, and track equivalent albums (TEA), which converts digital song downloads into album sales. "Crazy"'s physical album sales amounted to 38,000 units (also securing 1st place on the Top Album Sales chart), while its SEA units totaled 9,000.
With this, LE SSERAFIM has impressively entered the top 10 of the Billboard 200 for the third time.
Previously, their first full album "UNFORGIVEN" and mini 3rd album "Easy" ranked 6th and 8th, respectively. LE SSERAFIM had first entered the Billboard 200 just six months after their debut, reaching 14th place with their 2nd mini album "ANTIFRAGILE".
LE SSERAFIM now joins TWICE as the only K-pop girl groups to have three or more albums in the top 10 of the Billboard 200.
Attention is now on whether "Crazy"'s title track "Crazy" will also enter Billboard's main singles chart, the "Hot 100". LE SSERAFIM has previously reached the "Hot 100" with "Easy", which peaked at 99th.
