There has also been increasing speculation that HYBE has decided to neglect NewJeans following the dismissal of former CEO Min Hee Jin. The speculation had more credence when there was a claim that the new CEO brushed off Hanni's complaint about mistreatment.

On September 11, a netizen highlighted previous posts from 'Blind,' an anonymous online community where users can post after verifying their company employment. In the online community, several HYBE employees were seen mocking and bad-mouthing NewJeans, causing netizens to believe that NewJeans were indeed being ostracized by HYBE employees.

Translation: "HYBE employees can’t even comfortably enjoy their lunch of Kalguksu because they're worried about upsetting ADOR."/ "Let's have a Kalguksu party during today's lunch."

HYBE employees were seen mocking Minji's past remark about Kalguksu and leaving comments poking fun at the situation between HYBE and ADOR.

Following this latest controversy, Korean netizens continued to express concern and discuss about the tension between the two labels.
