Jay Park opened up about promoting on OnlyFans.
Fans may remember the MORE VISION CEO opened an account on OnlyFans, an internet content subscription service primarily used by sex workers who produce pornography, to promote his single "McNasty". On the September 11th episode of 'Radio Star', Jay Park commented on the surprising promotion tactic, saying, "I've released about 400 songs, including feature tracks, in the past 16 years. The longer I'm active, the more difficult it gets to promote songs because you're someone people see often."
He continued, "While thinking of how to promote the song and because of its explicit lyrics, I thought I should use a platform that has that kind of branding. OnlyFans is a platform only my fans can subscribe to. I guess I used the branding that a lot of people misunderstand and used it for my promotions. In the end, it turned out the way I wanted. It became a hot issue."
Jay Park also shared where the kiss mark from his music video came from, saying, "The kiss mark in the music video was a fashion item. My male manager made it. We first tried making one with hands, but it looked fake. I had no choice but to have my manager make the kiss mark for me."
