As the deadline set by NewJeans members for the return of former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin approaches, HYBE's stock price has dropped to its lowest point in 52 weeks as of September 23.
According to MP Doctor, at 9:13 AM on September 23, HYBE's stock was trading at 158,700 KRW (~118.91 USD), down 0.81% from the previous trading day. During the session, it fell as low as 158,000 KRW (~118.39 USD), marking a new 52-week low.
On September 11, NewJeans members demanded Min Hee Jin's return, giving a deadline of September 25. As it seems unlikely that HYBE will agree to this demand, market analysts speculate that the group may file an injunction to suspend their exclusive contract after the deadline.
In an interview aired the day before on the Japanese satellite channel WOWOW, Min Hee Jin commented, "I have a blueprint in mind... I've envisioned a long-term plan for NewJeans, looking ahead for the next seven years."
