JYP Entertainment is one of the ‘Big 4’ South Korean entertainment agencies, which was founded in 1997 by singer and producer J.Y. Park. JJ Project
‘JJ Project’ is a duo that debuted under JYP Entertainment in May 2012 featuring Jay B and Jinyoung with the single “Bounce.” They debuted as members of GOT7 in January 2014 and later released the EP “Verse 2” on July 31, 2017. Additionally, the unit also appeared in the K-dramas “Dream High 2” and “When a Man
Falls in Love.”
Jus2
‘Jus2’ is the second sub-unit of GOT7, which was launched in March 2019, with the group’s leader Jay B and the maknae Yugyeom as its members. The duo debuted with the mini album “Focus” and later released their first OST, “Take,” for the K-drama “He Is Psychometric.” They followed this with a series of showcase tours.
3RACHA
Composed of three Stray Kids members CB97 (Bang Chan), SPEARB (Changbin), and J.ONE (Han), ‘3RACHA’ is a hip-hop trio renowned for their song-producing skills. Formed even before Stray Kids’ official debut, the sub-unit dropped their first mixtape in January, 2017. Since then, they have continued to release multiple mixtapes and singles, including "Start Line," "ZONE," and "Carpe Diem."
DANCERACHA
‘DANCERACHA,’ the second sub-unit of Stray Kids, consisting of the group's primary dancers Lee Know, Hyunjin, and Felix, made an unofficial debut on August 26, 2018. The unit is also known as ‘VISUALRACHA,’ as it consists of the visual members of Stray Kids. They have showcased their impressive skills and talent in performances of "Wow" and "TASTE."
VOCALRACHA
‘VOCALRACHA,’ the vocal sub-unit of Stray Kids comprised of the talented vocalists of the group Seungmin, and I.N. They were introduced on September 2, 2018 with a video showcasing their vocal skills. The duo performed “My Universe,” their first song as a unit featuring Changbin, on November 23, 2019 during the Seoul Concert of their first world tour, “District 9: Unlock.”
DAY6 (Even of Day)
With three Day6 members, Young K, Wonpil, and Dowoon, the group's first sub-unit, 'DAY6 (Even of Day),' simply known as 'Even of Day,' debuted on August 31, 2020, releasing the mini album “The Book of Us: Gluon—Nothing Can Tear Us Apart.” The unit made a comeback with the EP “Right Through Me” on July 5, 2021.
MISAMO
‘MISAMO’ is the most recent JYP sub-unit, consisting of the three Japanese members of the popular K-pop girl group TWICE, Mina, Sana, and Momo. They debuted in Japan on July 26, 2023, with the mini album “Masterpiece.” Previously, in January they released “Bouquet” as an insert song for the Japanese drama “Liaison: Children’s Heart Clinic.”
