Dex enjoyed life in the Georgian countryside in the latest episode of JTBC's 'My Name is Gabriel'. The episode aired on September 6 and followed Dex as he lived the life of a rural farm boy in the European country of Georgia.
Upon arriving at the airport, Dex was guided to a vehicle along with the rest of the participants. Observing this, Defconn commented, "He seems different from his usual Gabriel self," heightening expectations for what was to come. Dex also shared, "At that moment, I didn’t really understand what was going on," during a later interview.
As Dex was listening to instructions, a man approached him, called him "Lati," and led him somewhere. Dex, visibly surprised, responded, "Is this it? Do I live here now?" In an interview, Dex later revealed, "I didn’t immediately realize the man was supposed to be my father, but his expressions and gestures made it clear that this was the beginning."
Once at the house, Dex was greeted warmly by his "parents" and shared dinner with them. His "father" later brought out a bottle of "Chacha," a Georgian spirit made from distilled wine leftovers, which Dex had been eagerly waiting to try. Overjoyed, Dex exclaimed, "This is a dream come true," as he happily drank the liquor.
During the interview, Dex was asked if his flushed face was due to the alcoholic drink, to which he bashfully admitted, "Yes, it’s pretty strong, but not difficult to drink."
