Actress Lee Se Young opened up about the emotional pain she experienced when her closest friend created an anti-fan cafe about her.

On the September 25th(KST) episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block', a special titled "I Make Myself" aired, featuring Lee Se Young, who shared her story with calm composure.

Lee Se Young became widely recognized for her role in 'Dae Jang Geum' as Geum Young, a character jealous of Jang Geum's natural talent. She reminisced, “Back then, my male classmates would tease me when I went to school.”

After gaining fame from 'Dae Jang Geum', Lee Se Young discovered that her close friend had created an anti-fan cafe. She recalled, “One day, my parents were on the computer and told me, ‘Don’t get too close to that friend you’ve been hanging out with.’ I pretended not to hear it.”

She continued, “Later, other friends at school told me, ‘That friend made an anti-fan cafe about you, and you still hang out with her?’ So, I asked her, ‘Did you really do that?’ and she said, ‘Yes, I’m sorry.’” Lee Se Young shared this with a calm demeanor, but revealed that despite the apology, the friend continued to be active in the anti-fan cafe.

Lee Se Young, who managed to balance acting with her studies, also excelled academically. Reflecting on her younger self, she said, “I used to think I was the center of the universe. I thought I’d be first in my class when I entered middle school, but I quickly realized that wasn’t the case,” she added with a laugh.
