SBS's brand new boy group audition program 'Universe League' has unveiled its final team leaders, WayV's TEN and Yangyang.
Unlike other idol audition programs, which consist of individual trainees surviving consecutive competition rounds in order to reach the goal of debut, 'Universe League' takes on the unique format of a tournament-style team competition. Contestants will be divided into three teams and compete against one another as teams, succeeding or failing as one body.
As leaders of 'Team Rhythm', TEN and Yangyang will hand-select the members of their own team and compete against 'Team Groove', led by BTOB's Changsub, and 'Team Beat', led by GOT7's Yugyeom. Team leaders will also be responsible for overseeing the production of their team stages for each competition round.
SBS's 'Universe League', hosted by Jay Park, is scheduled to premiere in November of 2024.
