Former Girl's Day member and now actress Park So-jin is set to return to the screen in the Coupang Play series Cinderella at 2 AM.
Cinderella at 2 AM (directed by Seo Min-jung and Bae Hee-young, written by Oh Eun-ji, creator Park Joon-hwa, produced by Imaginas and Studio Alzza) is an office romantic comedy that follows the story of "Joo Won" (played by Moon Sang-min), a perfect younger chaebol who is devoted to one woman, and "Yoon Seo" (played by Shin Hyun-bin), a highly capable woman who is determined to break up with him.
In the series, Park So-jin takes on the role of "Lee Mi-jin," a hot chaebol influencer and executive director of CM Department Store. Mi-jin is a marketing expert who uses her luxurious chaebol lifestyle to influence the public through social media. She is also a sharp career woman who chooses to enter into a strategic marriage with "Si-won" (played by Yoon Park), the eldest son of AL Group, to solidify her position within the group. Fans are already anticipating how Park So-jin will portray the confident and glamorous life of Mi-jin.
Park So-jin debuted as a member of the girl group Girl's Day in 2010 and transitioned into acting in 2017. She has since showcased her unique charm and detailed acting skills in various projects such as Stove League, Sh**ting Stars, and Alchemy of Souls, enhancing the overall quality of each production.
Notably, in last year's drama Bora! Deborah, Park So-jin gained attention for her portrayal of "Lee Yoo-jung," a career woman who balances both work and family life. Her realistic delivery of relatable dialogue resonated with viewers. In Delightfully Deceitful, she portrayed "Mo Jae-in," a psychiatrist with a warm yet discerning personality, leaving a strong impression on the audience and receiving critical acclaim.
As Park So-jin continues to receive love for her stable acting skills since transitioning to an actress, all eyes are on how she will perform in her upcoming project Cinderella at 2 AM.
Cinderella at 2 AM will be released on Coupang Play every Saturday and Sunday at 9 PM starting from August 24, and it will also air on Channel A at 9:20 PM on the same days.
Meanwhile, Park So-jin tied the knot with actor Lee Dong-ha last year, beginning a new chapter as a married couple.
