French luxury brand Dior has now officially appointed SEVENTEEN’s Mingyu as its new ambassador. The official announcement was made on August 1, after the rumors of Mingyu’s possible new ambassadorship had been circulating recently.
In a statement by Dior, the brand announced: “A K-Pop icon and member of SEVENTEEN, Mingyu has joined us as a Dior ambassador. Mingyu fully embodies Dior House’s unique creativity, which is continuously reinterpreted through Kim Jones, the artistic director of Dior’s menswear collection. Please look forward to the special collaboration between Dior and Mingyu, where boldness and creativity merge seamlessly.”
Mingyu has previously made showstopping appearances at award shows and fashion shows, often wearing Dior, such as his recent appearance at this year’s Paris Fashion Week:
