'School 2021' actors Choi Yi Hyun and Choi Young Woo are in talks to star in the upcoming drama 'Gyeon Woo and Fairy'.
On August 21, Artist Company revealed Choi Yi Hyun is "positively considering appearing in 'Gyeon Woo and Fairy,'" and Choo Young Woo's label J-Wide Company also confirmed he's positively reviewing his participation in the project.
‘Gyeon Woo and Fairy’ is a fantasy romance about a high school girl shaman who goes on a quest to find her first love. It's based on the popular webtoon of the same name by writer Ahn Soo Min that first serialized in February 2020. Choi Yi Hyun has been offered the role of Seong Ah, the celestial shaman who is a high school girl by day, while Choo Young Woo has been offered the role of Gyeon Woo, who does not believe in gods or shamans.
There is growing interest in whether the two, who previously worked together on KBS 2TV's 'School 2021', will reunite through 'Gyeon Woo and Fairy.'
Choi Yi Hyun gained recognition through roles in 'Hospital Playlist Season 2', 'School 2021', and 'All of Us Are Dead', while Choo Young Woo made his debut in 2021 with web dramas, appearing in 'Once Again', 'Oasis', and others.
