On August 16, The Black Label announced the launch of its first K-pop girl group, MEOVV (pronounced Meow). MEOVV, produced by The Black Label's Teddy, is set to debut in the second half of 2024.
On this day, The Black Label released a brief teaser video featuring five black cats lounging atop the company building. As the camera captures the scene, one of the cats jumps from the top of the building and waves its paws toward the camera.
Korean netizens gathered in a popular online community to share their thoughts with many expressing excitement for Teddy's new group but are debating the name.
