Broadcaster Ham So Won personally clarified the recent controversy surrounding photos of her husband's injuries.

On August 8, Ham So Won took to her Instagram to explain, "Jin Hua thought about it all day before posting the story. He was really surprised by how much media coverage it received. I apologize for causing everyone concern. Tomorrow, I will do a live broadcast with a smile. See you all tomorrow."

In the photo shared by Jin Hua, he said, "I believe my actions yesterday were wrong towards my child's mother. She is a good person. Please don't ruin someone because of one picture,' and added, 'I want to clarify once again that the injuries in the photo have nothing to do with Ham So Won. I am truly sorry."

Earlier, Jin Hua had posted a photo showing him bleeding around his eyes and nose, claiming, "Ham So Won hit me," but he quickly deleted the post. A few hours later, he added, "I'm not trying to frame her because she's an actress. The last eight years have been really tough. It was really hard."

This led to suspicions of domestic violence involving Ham So Won, but Jin Hua quickly retracted his statement, saying, "I wrote the post incorrectly. Ham So Won is not a bad person. Please don't misunderstand." On the same day, Ham So Won also stepped forward, saying, "Jin Hua is a good person."

Despite this, the controversy did not die down, and the couple had to once again clarify the allegations of violence.

Ham So Won married her husband Jin Hua, who is 18 years younger and from China, in 2017. The couple has a daughter named Hye Jeong. They appeared on the TV Chosun variety show 'Taste of Wife,' where they shared their daily life, but they left the show in 2021 amid accusations of manipulating the broadcast. The show was subsequently canceled.

In April last year, Ham So Won mentioned divorce, leading to further speculation of discord. At the time, she explained, "I felt like I was causing too much pain to my husband, who had grown up cherished, and to his family, so I thought it would be better if I just disappeared. I asked my husband repeatedly and cried as I spoke to my in-laws." Later, Ham So Won and Jin Hua retracted their divorce announcement during a live broadcast.
