Girls' Generation's Sooyoung is set to make her solo artist debut in Japan.
On August 29 KST, Sooyoung's agency Saram Entertainment told media outlets, "Sooyoung will release her 1st solo single 'Unstoppable' in Japan on October 30."
This will mark Sooyoung's solo artist debut 22 years after her debut in Girls' Generation. It's said that the singer has partnered up with renowned producers and creators including Soma Genda, Okajima Kanata, Yui Mugino, and more. Furthermore, Sooyoung herself participated as a lyricist in 3 of the 4 tracks on the single album.
'Unstoppable', containing 4 tracks including "Unstoppable", "C.A.L.M", "Who Gets The Spotlight", and "Call Me", will be released on October 30. To commemorate her solo debut in Japan, Sooyoung will hold her debut showcase, '~Unstoppable~', at Tokyo Ebisu Garden Hall on October 26.
