Actor Lee Kyu-han and former BB Girls member Yujeong have parted ways after a year of public dating.
On August 26, Lee Kyu-han's agency, Billions, confirmed the breakup, stating, "The two have recently broken up and have decided to remain supportive friends." Yujeong's agency, R&D Company, also verified the news of their separation.
Lee Kyu-han and Yujeong gained attention as a couple in the entertainment industry when they officially acknowledged their relationship in September of last year. The two initially met in February 2022 while appearing together on the KBS 2TV variety show "We Haven't Been Here in a While?" and eventually developed a romantic relationship. Although both parties denied dating rumors in July 2023, stating they were just close colleagues, they later confirmed their relationship after a second round of rumors surfaced.
Despite overcoming an 11-year age gap and receiving support from fans, the couple decided to part ways after approximately one year of public dating.
Yujeong, born in 1991, debuted with BB Girls in 2016 and gained popularity with hit songs such as "Rollin'," "Chi Mat Ba Ram," and "We Ride." After leaving BB Girls in April of last year, she joined R&D Company to continue her career.
Lee Kyu-han, born in 1980, made his debut in the 1996 KBS 2TV drama "Start" and has since appeared in numerous films and dramas, including "Mapado 2," "My Name is Kim Sam-soon," "Que Sera, Sera," "The Righteous," "Graceful Family," and "Battle for Happiness." He is set to appear in the upcoming SBS drama "The Judge from Hell," scheduled to air later this year.
