The K-pop group DKB successfully wrapped up the Japan leg of their first world tour on August 11th. The concert, titled
"2024 DKB WORLD TOUR [DARK STRANGE] in Tokyo" (referred to as "DARK STRANGE"), took place at Zepp Shinjuku in Tokyo.
"DARK STRANGE" marks DKB's first-ever world tour since their debut. Following their performance in Seoul, the group met with their fans, known as BB (official fandom name), in Tokyo. Embracing the tour's theme, DKB transformed into heroes, delivering powerful performances that showcased their potential as a "global dark horse" in the music industry.
The concert began with a unique band version of "What The Hell", the title track from their seventh mini-album "HIP". DKB then treated fans to an extensive setlist of over 20 songs, including "Ghost Ridah (Wow Wow)" and "Go Up", making for a rich and dynamic concert experience.
The show also featured a variety of solo and unit performances that kept the audience engaged throughout. One highlight was a special event during the "Fondue" stage by E-Chan, D1, and Junseo, where they handed out chocolates and jellies to the crowd.
DKB also prepared special performances for their Japanese fans. They covered "366日" by the Japanese rock band HY, and Yuku, the Japanese member of the group, performed a solo rendition of tuki.'s popular song "Mancanga", leading to enthusiastic sing-alongs from the audience.
Having successfully launched their first world tour "DARK STRANGE" in Seoul and Tokyo, DKB is set to continue their tour with upcoming performances in Taipei, Taiwan on August 25th, followed by stops in North America and Europe.
