aespa has once again captivated Japan, making history as the first foreign female artist to perform at Tokyo Dome for two consecutive years.
The group held their live tour, "SYNK: PARALLEL LINE in Tokyo Dome - Special Edition," on August 17th and 18th, drawing an impressive crowd. This marks aespa's second solo concert at Tokyo Dome, a feat they achieved just 2 years and 9 months after their debut. Their powerful performance attracted approximately 94,000 fans, with tickets selling out immediately after release, including seats with restricted views.
This milestone is particularly significant as aespa is the first overseas female artist to hold back-to-back concerts at this iconic venue. When combined with their Japan arena tour, the group has performed for nearly 200,000 fans across cities like Fukuoka, Nagoya, Saitama, and Osaka.
During the Tokyo Dome concert, aespa delivered an upgraded performance, adding songs from their Japanese debut single "Hot Mess," along with tracks like "Sun & Moon" and "Zoom Zoom" to their setlist. They also treated fans to lively performances of hits such as "Hold on Tight," "Spicy," "Yolo," "Live My Life," and "We Go," even riding vehicles through the venue to connect with the audience.
aespa expressed their gratitude, stating, "It's thanks to all of you that we can perform at Tokyo Dome again this year. We're deeply moved by your support and hope you enjoyed the show. We promise to continue giving our best, so please keep supporting us."
aespa will continue their second world tour, with the next stop in Jakarta, Indonesia, on August 24th.
