Jeon So Mi is returning after a year.
According to her agency, THE BLACK LABEL, Jeon So Mi will release a new single on Friday, August 2, and resume her activities. This comeback, a year after her first EP 'GAME PLAN' was released in August last year, is drawing attention from fans and listeners alike.
Previously, Jeon So Mi promoted the title track "Fast Forward" from "GAME PLAN," showcasing a performance that combined iconic deep house music with tectonic choreography. "Fast Forward" gained immense popularity, reaching the top ranks on domestic music charts and sparking a challenging trend.
Additionally, Jeon So Mi appeared as a special mentor on the recently concluded Mnet show 'I-LAND 2' and received praise for her skilled hosting during the final live broadcast where the final debut group was selected.
Having established herself as a trusted all-rounder solo artist, Jeon So Mi is expected to return with a refreshing new song that suits the hot summer, showcasing her charm as a "Summer Queen."
Specifically, Jeon So Mi will kick off her comeback activities with the release of her new single and music video at 1 PM on the 2nd of next month, followed by appearances on various music shows.
Jeon So Mi first gained attention in 2016 by participating in the Mnet girl group survival audition program 'Produce 101,' where she finished in first place and debuted with the project girl group I.O.I. After the group's activities ended, she re-debuted as a solo artist and released several hit songs, including "XOXO," "DUMB DUMB," and "Fast Forward."
