Famous rapper A is under police investigation following an incident where he allegedly assaulted a pedestrian.

According to police reports, the Seoul Mapo Police Station announced on the 31st that they have received a report and have initiated a preliminary investigation into rapper A for allegedly assaulting a pedestrian.

The incident reportedly occurred on the evening of the 28th around 8:30 PM at an underpass in a park located in Mapo District. Rapper A is said to have assaulted the pedestrian, using his cellphone among other means, after telling them to "push the bicycle properly." The victim is reported to have suffered injuries, including cuts near the eye and damage to some teeth.

On the day of the incident, police responded to the report, conducted an initial investigation at the scene involving both A and the victim, and then released them.

A police official stated, "We will decide whether to formally charge the individual based on the preliminary investigation. If charges are filed, a formal investigation will follow."

Rapper A debuted in the music industry in 2010 and has also appeared as a producer on the audition program 'Show Me the Money.'
